The Great Wolf Lodge

We took the kids to Sandusky Ohio to have fun at The Great Wolf Lodge. They have an indoor water park where we all had such a blast. The boys loved riding the water slides and swimming in the many pools. Nathaniel is a GREAT swimmer. He has no fear and he can really swim very well for a four year old. We were impressed by him. Katie Joy enjoyed playing with the dumping buckets and sitting on the steps of the pools. She was a little more cautious of the water. Andrew said that he "had the BEST time EVER"!!! Madelyn stayed with mommy and played with Katie with all the water works. We were wet for two days and water logged every night. The family had a great time and will probably go again. If the kids had it their way they would go back every day!

eBlogger v. Website

So we've been doing the whole blog, myspace, facebook, and website thing for a year now. We have tried all of them. First , the website: this seemed to be too time consuming and at times a little difficult. It was just to hard to format it the way we wanted. Secondly, Myspace: this was ok but a little too cheesy with way too many pop-ups and advertisements that I wouldn't necessarily endorse. Third, Facebook: Jeanine and I have really seemed to enjoy using Facebook. This has been a pretty good way to network with a lot of friends that we have lost track of over the years. For those of you who don't like all the inappropriateness of Myspace, facebook would definitely be the way to go. Lastly, eBlogger: This has been the easiest way for Jeanine and I to keep everyone informed about our family. It is the easiest to navigate, and it is quick to format. Uploading pictures and videos is also a piece of cake. Anyway having said all that we hope you will stay in touch with you as we try to keep you informed about our family.

A White Easter!!!!

Snow on Easter?? This is the first Easter I have ever had to celebrate while smelling the wood burning in the fireplaces in the neighborhood. Our Music Pastor jokingly said that he wanted to change the opening hymn to the First Noel! Easter Sunday was colder than Christmas day. Despite the gray sky, bone chilling cold and snow covered cars we had a beautiful Easter Day!!
Our family still wore their new Easter gear and headed off to church to here the Easter Cantata. First Baptist of Troy had a wonderful Easter service filled with the message of the cross and the awesome Resurrection of our Saviour. We were tremendously blessed.

We enjoyed a fun-filled day with family. My mother-in-law prepared a wonderful Ham with all the yummy fixins. The kids had a warm, in door, Easter egg hunt and became intoxicated with too much candy. All in all our Easter Day was a blessing, fun and very rememberable. We hope you all had a blessed Easter and that you continually remember the cross.
