Kitty, Kitty

This is "Shadow". She is the new addition to our family. She is a very sweet Kitty! She hides all day so that she doesn't have to see the children. I think I may give that a try!!! :)

Big Girl!!

Maddie Grace is growing up way too fast!!!

The"Pacifier Fairy" Came!!!

Last night we had a visit from the "Pacifier Fairy". Katie has had a very hard time letting go of the pacifier. Yesterday we told her that the "Pacifier Fairy" was coming to get all of her Pacifiers to give to the new babies that were being born. If she left them for her the "Fairy" she would have a Big surprise. So after a very restless night and some tears Katie woke up this morning to the Ballerina outfit that she wanted. She was very excited to see the sparkly skirt and Satin slippers but very disappointed that the pacifiers were gone for good. I am sure she will adjust but I know it is not going to be easy!!!

We had a fun filled day yesterday!!! Well, Andrew had lots of fun I should say! He spent his day getting the landscaping ready for the Spring. We have a clean slate to work with. Now that all the hard work is done I think I might help pick out the plants and flowers!!!
Look at our new Ears!!!!

I'm Still Here!

I know it has been a LONG time since i have updated our blog but things have been and still are very busy!! We are all settled into our new home and we are very happy!

The kids have had the BEST summer ever!! The boys have learned how to ride bikes without training wheels and Katie has graduated from diapers to princess "undies". Madelyn has graduated form being easy to handle to a nightmare. Just kidding!! She is the typical one year old that is into EVERYTHING!!!!! She is still very quiet which in some cases is good and in other cases NOT so good (when she is in the kitchen helping herself to a snack)little stinker!!!

Andy is busier than ever at work right now! He has worked 21 days @ 12 hours a day straight and is very tired!! I am tired too!!!! 21 days without him is tough!!!We are making it!!! August 29th is opening day for Costco in Toledo so we are almost there. Things should settle down after that (until the Holidays).

God has blessed us more than we could have asked!! We love our home and we are so thankful for a wonderful job that provides for our family! (even if the hours are HORRIBLE right now) He has even given me a wonderful neighbor that I spend almost everyday with because our boys play so well together. I thank Him so much for that because I need someone while Andy is working all of these long hours. I also find that the Lord has given me this neighbor so that I can be a witness for Him. So for all these things I Praise Him. God is good in both Big and small ways! NEVER FORGET THAT!!!!!

Hot Summer Fun!!!!

The kids visit to MomMom and Poppy's house

The kids went to visit my mom and Jerry this past weekend and they had so much fun!! Mom and Jerry took them to a friends farm. They were able to hold newborn baby chicks, mix some feed and give the feed to the cows. They loved every minute of their time with their grandparents. We can't even begin to thank my parents for the time they gave to the kids last weekend. I know that it is hard work to have these three!

Remembering!!!

Our family recently lost a man that was truly loved. "Bud" Zuerner passed away on May 11th,2007. He will be greatly missed. The family all gathered together this past weekend to celebrate his life. Although it was so sad to say goodbye to the man so frequently called "papaw" it was wonderful to see family that we have not seen in many years. Papaw would have loved being with everybody. However he would have hated that we were there because of him. We will miss him very much!!!

The Great Wolf Lodge

We took the kids to Sandusky Ohio to have fun at The Great Wolf Lodge. They have an indoor water park where we all had such a blast. The boys loved riding the water slides and swimming in the many pools. Nathaniel is a GREAT swimmer. He has no fear and he can really swim very well for a four year old. We were impressed by him. Katie Joy enjoyed playing with the dumping buckets and sitting on the steps of the pools. She was a little more cautious of the water. Andrew said that he "had the BEST time EVER"!!! Madelyn stayed with mommy and played with Katie with all the water works. We were wet for two days and water logged every night. The family had a great time and will probably go again. If the kids had it their way they would go back every day!

eBlogger v. Website

So we've been doing the whole blog, myspace, facebook, and website thing for a year now. We have tried all of them. First , the website: this seemed to be too time consuming and at times a little difficult. It was just to hard to format it the way we wanted. Secondly, Myspace: this was ok but a little too cheesy with way too many pop-ups and advertisements that I wouldn't necessarily endorse. Third, Facebook: Jeanine and I have really seemed to enjoy using Facebook. This has been a pretty good way to network with a lot of friends that we have lost track of over the years. For those of you who don't like all the inappropriateness of Myspace, facebook would definitely be the way to go. Lastly, eBlogger: This has been the easiest way for Jeanine and I to keep everyone informed about our family. It is the easiest to navigate, and it is quick to format. Uploading pictures and videos is also a piece of cake. Anyway having said all that we hope you will stay in touch with you as we try to keep you informed about our family.

A White Easter!!!!

Snow on Easter?? This is the first Easter I have ever had to celebrate while smelling the wood burning in the fireplaces in the neighborhood. Our Music Pastor jokingly said that he wanted to change the opening hymn to the First Noel! Easter Sunday was colder than Christmas day. Despite the gray sky, bone chilling cold and snow covered cars we had a beautiful Easter Day!!
Our family still wore their new Easter gear and headed off to church to here the Easter Cantata. First Baptist of Troy had a wonderful Easter service filled with the message of the cross and the awesome Resurrection of our Saviour. We were tremendously blessed.

We enjoyed a fun-filled day with family. My mother-in-law prepared a wonderful Ham with all the yummy fixins. The kids had a warm, in door, Easter egg hunt and became intoxicated with too much candy. All in all our Easter Day was a blessing, fun and very rememberable. We hope you all had a blessed Easter and that you continually remember the cross.

That's Katie Joy!!

Is it really Easter already??????

Can you believe it?? It is Easter time already. Where has time gone? I recently took the kids out to my Mom's so they could participate in the annual Easter egg hunt they have. This was the first year that the boys could actual hunt for the eggs themselves. Katie Joy held her own and found a dozen of bright pink eggs to put in her daisy covered pink basket. We were able to visit with Jerry's children and grandchildren. It has been a year or more since I have seen them. The kids have grown so much. All in all it was a successful visit and the kids left happy and egger to visit again soon.

Bye-Bye Web-site!!!

Well, we tried the whole web-site thing and we didn't like it. I didn't like it . Too complicated for me. I really enjoy our blog so, we are back. I hope you all enjoy visiting our blog again. I will post some new things shortly. Glad to be back. :)
